Blistering City

Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

Noon- lowered sun burns into boiling brain..
Suffocated, breathing goes slow.
Inhalation draws threaten with death
and pangs of squeezing heat silence the dumb beat.Black wind mounts to my sweltering brain
and hastens to smoke all rising flame.
Waters run lest they would be swept in vain
leaving us with muddy hopes of the swamp.

Predilection goes up with torrid flood
And stains chaste chests with blood.

???ada for summer’s coal a furnace
It’s mood turns up side down a short glance.

“Je”the “I” in it is swept in eruption
Till the bones lose marrow and erection.

Rada :nonsense though mysteriously soft and tender
Impregnated with swellings of void and despair.

The swaying move of light

Tuesday, January 1st, 2008

Rays of hope knocked my door
and suggested whole stretches of rest.
But the sordid smiles that roar,
keep on swearing disgusting pest.

So vile, faces threatened the child
taking out all that was once frail and joyful.
And oblivious of flow and tide,
reminiscence –dwellers have turned forgetful.

Shabbily, the Poor’s dreams hesitate
To pass by his tiredly lain head.
And his lingering dark looks
Sway in hast towards the dead.
